2009 Annual Support Group Holiday Party

Each December, The National Parkinson’s Foundation, Orange County Chapter and The Parkinson’s Outreach Program at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian host a holiday party for patients and family members. This event brings all our support group members together to share in a wonderful holiday inspired luncheon. 

Held at Hoag Hospital, guests are treated to a lovely luncheon provided by the NPF Chapter.  The luncheon is open to all members who attend our sponsored support groups and wellness programs. It is the one time of the year that all group members come together in one place. It is also a time to acknowledge group facilitators for their excellence in leadership throughout the year and representatives from each of the 16 support groups are recognized for their dedication and commitment.

This year, approximately 200 individuals attended and enjoyed a superb performance by the Madrigal Singers from Corona Del Mar High School, led by Val Jamora, Director of Music.

Volunteer servers for this years’ party included Hoag physicians and staff, Chapter members and friends, and volunteers from PIMCO financial institution. Thank you to all who made this a fun and successful event.  See you next year!
