“Parkinson Disease and the Art of Moving™”
An exercise program based on principles of John Argue
*Programs are sponsored by a grant from the National Parkinson Foundation
and Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian.
The goal of this exercise program is to increase flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination, improve communication, voice power and speech clarity, delay the progression of symptoms, and take steps toward leading a fuller life.
New Class
Irvine Class Meets:
Time: Wednesday’s 10:30—12:00noon
Place: Atria Woodbridge, 1 Witherspoon, Irvine
Parking: Parking is to the rear of the building
Cost: No Charge
Instructor(s): Nan Kappeler, Personal Trainer; Kerri DeHart, Massage Therapist
What to wear: Comfortable clothing you wouldn’t mind being on the floor in.
Continuing Class
Newport Beach Class Meets:
Time: Monday’s 1:30—3:00pm
Place: Hoag Cancer Center Auditorium
Parking: Complimentary Valet Parking
Cost: No Charge
Instructor(s): Hoag Hospital occupational or physical therapist
What to wear: Comfortable clothing you wouldn’t mind being on the floor in.
